Everyone gets a secret card with the same place — except the spy. Take turns asking each other questions. Answer well enough to prove you know the place, but not so clearly that the spy can guess it. When the timer ends (or anyone is sure), vote for the spy. If the spy is caught, they get one last chance to guess the place. A full guide is in the app under How to play.
Frequently asked questions
Nearby game: my friends can't find my room
Everyone needs Wi-Fi and Bluetooth turned on (being on the same Wi-Fi network is not required). When iOS asks, allow Local Network access. If you declined earlier, go to iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Local Network and turn Spy on. Discovery can take 5–10 seconds; keep the app open on all phones.
A player dropped out of a nearby game
Keep the app open and the phone unlocked — iOS pauses the connection when Spy goes to the background. The player can rejoin the same room from the Join screen.
How do I remove ads?
Buy the Agent Pass in the in-app Store. It's a one-time purchase that removes every ad and unlocks extra card backs and avatar frames.
I bought the Agent Pass but ads still appear
Open Settings in the app and tap Restore purchases, signed in with the same Apple ID you used to buy. Purchases are handled by Apple; for refunds visit reportaproblem.apple.com.
How do I change ad privacy choices?
Where required by law, open Settings → Privacy options in the app. Tracking permission can be changed in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Are the photos in my Faces pack uploaded?
No. Photos you pick are cropped and stored only inside the app on your phone. Deleting the app deletes them.
How do I change the language?
In the app, open Settings → Language. Spy is available in 11 languages.
How do I reset my statistics?
Open Statistics and tap Reset.
The Lock Screen timer doesn't appear
Make sure Live Activities are enabled for Spy in iOS Settings → Spy → Live Activities.
